Sales Manager – Western Region (Fill/ Finish Machines for the Pharmaceutical & BioPharmaceutical Industries) Bausch Advanced Technologies Inc. – HQ Clinton, CT / Irvine. The Group comprises of companies serving North America (HQ – USA), Europe/ Asia (HQ – Germany) , South America (HQ – Brazil) and Switzerland and benefits from a global distribution network. Product Portfolio: Offering tabletop units for small batches, semi-automated equipment, up to high speed fully automatic single equipment or comprehensive production lines for Syringes, Cartridges, Vials, Bottles, Ampoules, IV Bags and various other container types. BAUSCH Group is a single source solution provider for primary packaging applications. BAUSCH Group service includes consulting, installation, set-up, retrofit, repair and maintenance of BAUSCH original equipment machinery, spare and wear parts, upgrades, robotics and as well as machine accessories. JOB TITLE: Regional SALES MANAGER – Western Region

Main Job Functions:

  • Manage the sales within the territory Western Region (West USA, optionally Mexico) for the company.
  • Electively manage customer relationships, representative relationships, and held sales assignments.
  • Review and comment the technical and commercial requirements for those projects in the territory.
  • Prepare standard machine quotes for approval, and to present the approved version to customers.
  • Provide market analysis and feedback to the various departments within the designated territories.
  • Implement the strategies required to achieve the sales targets with the representatives in territories.
  • Traveling required – up to 70%

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the leads within the territory
  • Develop new customer accounts and help penetrate and maintain existing accounts
  • Identify new opportunities that could enhance business development and company growth
  • Train and support sales personnel and/or representatives to ensure proper sales coverage
  • Represent the company at approved exhibitions, trade shows, customer meetings, and events
  • Promote and adhere to company polices and safety regulations, and encourage safe work practices
  • Adhere to, implement, and operate within guidelines of the ISO QMS
  • BA / BSc; technical degree preferred
  • Experience in device or customized machinery equipment sales
  • Background in the pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare industries
  • More than 5 years of sales experience
  • Strong communicator and elective leader with technical knowledge
  • Experience in extensive domestic and some international travel
